Here are some ideas for things to do on a rainy day in Cavan:

While away some time at the Library
Let them run off some steam at one of the indoor playgrounds: Kool Kidz, Livewirez or Little Monkeys
Swimming at Cavan Swimming Pool & Leisure Complex or Bailieborough Swimming Pool & Leisure Centre or one of the larger hotels.
Baking! Fairy Cakes, Welshcake's or Krispie Cakes
Cinema! Storm Cinema great for whiling away those hours!
Go on....brave the paints/glue/googly eyes/glitter/feathers and do some make and do with them!
Museum! Cavan County Museum, is a great way to learn out Cavan's rich history
Bowling! Astra Bowl is a great for burning energy & a few laughs too!
Get them busy in doors with some ideas from here
If all else fails put on the wellies and raincoats for brisk walk, splash in puddles and feed the ducks!
