Coffee - Pónaire, Irish Handcrafted Coffee
| Coffee lovers everywhere will enjoy Pónaire coffee. This is a local handcrafted coffee roaster, the only one in the Mid West region. A family owned and run business, Thomas & Jennifer Ryan are becoming well recognised and respected for premium coffees. As artisan producers, they are passionate about good, traceable, healthy food and strive to work closely to support other artisan producers throughout Ireland. In April 2010 they launched their newly certified Fairtrade Coffee as well as revamped packaging for their existing coffees. |

Pónaire has access to more than 90 different green (un-roasted) coffee beans from over 20 countries around the world from where they import their own raw beans. The beans are selected for their quality and taste from sources that support the local producer, their community and the environment in a sustainable manner.
They are meticulously roasted, blended, and packaged at the new purpose-built roastery in Annacotty Business Park, where they have just opened a small Deli and Coffee Shop serving muffins, scones, soup, sandwiches, tea and of course coffee from Monday - Friday 07:30 - 15:00

| While Ponaire artisan roast, they can still support large orders and produce the freshest handcrafted coffee available. Blends include Costa Rica, Indian, Decaf, various European blends, and their newly certified Fairtrade Medium Roast. Once roasted, the coffee is delivered to the customer as quickly as possible so it can be enjoyed at its optimum freshness. Pónaire can support all your coffee needs – they supply a wide selection of whole beans, ground coffee as well as a full range of equipment. |

In 2010 Pónaire was awarded 3 Gold Stars for their Indian Blend Coffee for filter/cafetiere and 1 Gold Star for their Indonesian Java Blawan Estate Blend for Espressos from the Great Taste Awards for the UK and Ireland! Their Connoisseur Espresso Blend, a single origin, custom blend and UTZ Certified coffee won Gold in the Great Taste Awards in 2009 and have received Bridgestone Awards in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.
