Swimming pools and indoor exercise options in Dublin North County.
Alsaa has a 25 metre swimming pool which caters for competitive and fun swimmers. The Aer Lingus swimming club selects and trains people of all ages for competitions and galas. A number of nights are dedicated to ALSAA swimmers but most hours are available for fun for all the family. A steam room, sauna, sunbeds, gymnasia and restaurant are located adjacent to the pool. Alsaa also has a bowling centre with bumpers available for children. Activities for children and young people include tennis, badminton, squash, hockey, swimming classes, bowling, tae kown do and karate. There is also a creche available.
Portmarnock leisure centre has a large pool with is available to the public. Activities for children and young people include swimming classes, mini-tennis, ladybirds, judo, karate, badminton, basketball little kickers (mini football).
Jackie Skellys has a luxurious 20m swimming pool with separate children’s pool and a designated parent and child friendly changing area. There are swimming lessons for children over 3 and a teen personal training club for over 10 yr olds.
Sportslink has a 25 metre competition pool. It also has a toddler pool, leisure pool with wave machine, two flumes, lazy river and bubble pool so lots of fun to be had while exercising. There is a full gym available and a teen fitness programme for those aged between 13 – 15 yrs. |
